Kobe Bryant was a legend in basketball and today Vidello Productions is taking a look at 10 expensive things he previously owned.



10 – Los Angeles Mansion

Purchased on October 1997 for $1.7 million dollars, Kobe Bryant and Wife Vanessa purchased this massive estate estate, which is now valued at around $4.6 million.

Situated on .47 acres this massive home has 6 bedrooms and approximately 6,500-square feet of living space.

The outside of the home has several entertainment terraces, built-in barbecue center, lush lawns, and a swimming pool and spa.

Other features include 850-square-foot gym, a home theater with a lobby, and even its own private hair salon.

One of the main features of the Bryant’s home was a massive shark tank that was located in the private office on the second floor.


9 – Ferrari 458 Italia

Featuring a 4.5-liter V8 engine with a monstrous 562 horsepower, this car is a great example of what Ferrari does best.

Kobe grew up in Italy and became a huge fan of the Italian sports cars at an early age and even had posters of them on his wall before he became famous.

Photographed several times in the car on his travels around Los Angeles, the car is thought to have cost him roughly $423,054 dollars.

Featuring a top speed of 211 mph, Ferrari have the official 0-100km/h speed of 3.4 seconds and the car comes with both a Multi-function Steering Wheel and Alloy Wheels.

Other features included in the insane price are Power Steering, Power Windows, Anti Lock Braking System and Air Conditioning.

The car is super charged and has a Dual Clutch 7-speed F1 Automatic Transmission and a Fuel Tank Capacity of 86 liters.


8 – Newport Coast Estate

The latest home to be owned by Kobe Bryant, his Newport Coast estate was worth exactly $7,599,999 dollars.

Built in 1997, the 8,471 square foot Mediterranean mansion sits on half an acre behind the secure walls of a gated community in Newport Coast, California.

The house features carved staircase and a dazzling chandelier suspended over the home’s two-story foyer while further in there is a large living room and huge marble kitchen.

Features such a s a screening room, deep swimming pool and hot tub and massive entertaining area are also included in the price.

The home features a large 4-car garage, where Kobe used to keep his extensive car collection.


7 – Wedding Ring’s

Currently much more of a fashion statement than plain white diamond rings, the purple and other colored rings are the in thing at the moment.

In 2012, after having gone through a court case, Kobe Bryant presented his wife Vanessa with an 8 carat purple diamond ring that was reported to be valued at approximately 4 Million Dollars!

Its thought that after their divorce in December 2011 in Orange County, Vanessa got to keep her ring.

Kobe’s ring was a platinum circle design with diamonds on both the inside and the outside bands, however there is no information on price.6 – Pelican Ridge Mansion

$6.45 million dollars is the amount of money you would need to purchase the late Kobe Bryant’s home in the Pelican Ridge community.

The four-bedroom house on a cul-de-sac in the guard-gated neighborhood has 8,471 square feet of living space.

The home includes a basketball court, hair salon and home theater while outside there is a large swimming pool and Jacuzzi.

This is the third home originally owned by the couple and later sold when they decided to invest in their biggest home in Pelican Ridge.


5 – Airbus AS355

On the morning of the 26th January 2020, Kobe Bryant and his daughter along with many others, was tragically killed in a helicopter crash in California.

It may come as no surprise to people watching that he often traveled by Helicopter and he even owned his own, which he used to travel both to games and help out friends and family.

His Airbus AS355 was well equipped for this task and included a maximum speed of 278km/h and a maximum range of 776km.

The AS355 has a maximum service ceiling of over 6,096m and can climb at a rate of 10m/sec with both dual hydraulics and an increased maximum weight of 2,300 kg.

Prices for this version of helicopter are in the range of ‎$3.6 Million Dollars.


4. Pelican Crest Mega-Mansion

The largest of the homes once owned by Kobe Bryant, his massive Pelican Crest Mega-Mansion cost him nearly $9.5 million and took over two years too build.

Featuring six bedrooms and a two-level sports court, this massive home also comes with many features of his previous homes, some of which went to his ex-wife Vanessa after their divorce.

Features include a massive home gym, home theater, large home office and a library for study.

Outside there are large entertaining areas, a guest house, swimming pool and BBQ area for hosting amazing party’s.


3. Bentley Azure Mulliner

Aside from Italian cars, Kobe Bryant also had a taste for the classics and he picked the Bentley Azure Mulliner as one for his collection.

Priced today at roughly £119,000, his two-door Convertible featured a 6.75 litre V8 engine with a 6-speed ZF 6HP-26 automatic transmission .

The top speed of this classic is 155 mph, and the 0-60 mph speed is a cool 6.4 seconds and was produced between 2006 and 2009.

The car also featured some modern day upgrades including a 10-speaker, 1,100W audio system and Electronic Stability Program along with tire Pressure monitoring system and Secure Digital memory card slot.


2. Lamborghini Aventador LP-700-4

Back to the Italian side of things now and another favorite car once owned by Kobe Bryant was his Lamborghini Aventador with base price of $393,695 dollars.

Carved from the shape of Lamborghini’s limited-edition Reventón concept car, this model was unveiled at Lummus Park, Miami, followed by Miami International Airport.

The car has a 0-60 mph speed of 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph) although 370 km/h (230 mph) has been achieved in tests.

On-board is a single-clutch seven-speed semi-automatic Graziano transmission with shifts accomplished in 50 milliseconds.

There is an electronically controlled, all-wheel drive system and the car is powered by Lamborghini’s fifth in-house V12 engine.


1. Kobe INC

Kobe Bryant leaves behind a huge business empire which he built after retiring from the NBA and he was known as both a brand-builder, investor and coach off the court.

He co-founded venture capital firm Bryant Stibel along with Web.com founder Jeff Stibel which now holds more than $2 billion dollars in assets.

He invested in sports drink Body Armor which was later sold to Coca Cola in 2018 and later founded Granity Studios, a media company that focuses on creative storytelling around sports.

Kobe Bryant also pushed large sales of his Black Mamba brand while being a Nike endorser and included merchandise such as shoes and other gear.

Some of the other brands he was associated with over the years included McDonald’s, Sprite, Nintendo and Turkish Airlines.

He even purchased a 16,550-square-foot building in Newport beach to house the offices of the company with the sale price reported at $5.8 million dollars.
